Join us on Thursday, February 26, from 7-8 PM (PST) on Zoom for a panel of early-career librarians and true freeway fliers working in public and academic libraries as we share candid stories about job hunting, professional growth, and finding our footing in the field. We’ll talk about what we wish we’d known, what’s helped us stay grounded, and how we’re navigating the search for our “forever jobs.” This highly interactive session includes time for Q&A, discussion, and connection. You’ll walk away with practical job-seeking tips, a clearer picture of life after grad school, and the reminder that you’re not in this alone. This session will be recorded and live-captioned with auto-generated text. The recording will be sent to those on the RSVP list. If you have questions and cannot attend the webinar, please send them to CLA’s student representative, Ramara, at least 1 day in advance: ramara.rubin@gmail.com We will be joined by Valerie Tohom (Alhambra Public Library/Los Angeles Public Library), Nick Catt (Los Angeles Public Library, Mt. San Antonio College, Pasadena City College, Valley College), Annie Jaffe (Los Angeles Public Library, CLA Student Interest Group Chair), Ramara Rubin (CLA Student Representative).
