Bilingual Zine Workshop

Objective: create 6-fold zines in a Foreign Language (Spanish, Russian, Tagalog, Persian, Arabic, etc.)

Audience: all-ages, although young children will need the help of their parents/guardians to fold the paper, etc.

Length: 60 minutes

20 mins (short history of zines in libraries + show participants how to fold a 6-fold)

20 mins (show participants some zines from the #LAPLZineLibrary to give them ideas + brainstorm subject of zines)

20 mins (for participants to actually make the content of their zines, will provide discarded magazines and books for participants to cut up and paste on collage style)
