8/18/2017 - The recent discussions about book banning of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian at Conejo Valley Unified School District have captured the attention of the American Library Association, California Library Association, and the National Council of Teachers of English.

Attached please find the letter on behalf of James LaRue, director of the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom, addressing our concerns.
