Vaile Fujikawa for CLA Board, Student Representative

Statement of Concerns

I am running to be the student representative to the board of directors because I feel passionately about the survival of California libraries and librarians. I know that in times of economic struggle and rapidly changing technology libraries face new and exciting challenges, and believe that my enthusiasm and creativity will be useful in finding ways to face those challenges and help to prepare for the future. I am dedicated to the service of California libraries and information accessibility for our patrons (public, academic, special or otherwise), and look forward to serving CLA members in the year to come.
