Cynthia Cowell for CLA Board Director

Statement of Concerns

CLA is an important organization in the lives of all libraries in the state, and membership in it is an imperative for me on several levels. First and foremost, it is important for all voices of the organization to express themselves and be part of the solution to our issues. My sincere desire is to represent those voices proactively and to be a spokesperson at the Board level, representing our organization locally, statewide, and at the national level when appropriate. I have enjoyed a great career as a library director, and it is now time for me to give back in a meaningful way. Thanks in advance for considering my candidacy to this important position and allowing me the privilege of serving you, your library, and your constituents.
