CLA is delighted to announce the results of the 2015 elections. 
Thank you to everyone who ran for election and to everyone who voted.

President Elect

Student Representative

Amendment 1 (yes)       

Change term of office for Student Representatives to two years.


Amendment 2 (yes)       

Allow Board of Directors to appoint a qualified voting student member to the Board in the event of a vacancy in the position of Student Representative.


Amendment 3 (yes)       

Add one more non-board member to the Finance Committee.


Amendment 4 (yes)       

Change the definition of Institutional Member to explicitly include educational institutions and non-profit organizations.


Amendment 5 (yes)       

Allow Board of Directors to determine dues for Institutional and Business Members and reaffirm the need for a membership vote on changes in annual dues for Voting and Supporting Members.


Amendment 6 (yes)       

Consolidate all provisions dealing with voting into one Article in the Bylaws, and reorganize the Article on Voting and Elections so that it follows a logical and chronological progression.  Make conforming changes to Article III dealing with Membership and Article XVI dealing with Amendments.  Also, correct a typographical error in Article XVI, Section 2.
