The Call for Proposals for the upcoming 2013 CLA Conference in Long Beach is now closed. We received over 140 proposals which means the committee responsible for deciding what programs will be presented is going to have plenty of choices to consider!

But I’m thinking ahead already – thinking about the 2014 Conference. And you should be thinking about 2014 also. Why? Because it is likely that you are doing something outstanding, working on a project that engages your community or trying out a different service model. And if you are, consider putting together a program proposal for the 2014 conference! It’s a great way to let the (California) world know what you’re doing and how you’re doing it.

Now back to the 2013 conference! Having done a quick peek at the submissions, you are not going to want to miss the conference in Long Beach. You’ll have to wait until we put out the preliminary program, but be assured that you are going to have lots of very tempting choices.

So start making your plans now to come to beautiful Long Beach in early November. The weather will be great and the networking will be awesome. Look for the preliminary program in mid-June!
