Your Marketing Toolbox: Channels, Tools and Tips

The Library Marketing Trifecta is a webinar series offering both high level overviews and concrete tips
and how-to’s for library marketers. Each webinar will be 1 hour in duration and cover a different aspect of library marketing.

This second webinar in the series covers different marketing channels, content management, design tools, and how to choose the right tools and channels for your needs.

Together, these webinars cover the basic training needed for any library marketer to gain a real understanding of the purpose of marketing and PR for libraries and how to go about implementing great campaigns.

Webinar Description:
Is your library known as a hub for community engagement? Learn how you can begin to build its reputation beyond books to a place for meaningful face-to-face engagement. Using Sacramento Public Library as a case study, this webinar will teach you best practices for utilizing online platforms like Meetup. These best practices will empower frontline staff to reach potential new library users and build community both online and in the library.

Presenter: Amy Calhoun
Amy Calhoun is the Communications & Virtual Services Manager for Sacramento Public Library. She works with a team of talented PR, marketing and design pros to develop the Library’s communication strategy. This team is leading the implementation of a strategy built on useful, engaging content rather than traditional, outbound marketing. Before managing the Communications department, Amy was the Virtual Library Coordinator, so she brings a data-driven, usability and user-focused approach to her work.
