Here you will find practical information about CSLP program materials, including the manual, the graphics CD-ROM, and the items available for purchase.
CSLP Website: members-only section
CSLP has created a private section on its website for member libraries. CSLP will use this section to post resources and information to support your children’s, teen, and adult summer reading programs!
Membership is restricted to public libraries. All of California’s public libraries are members of CSLP. Membership is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
If you work in a California public library, and would like to create an account to access the member section of CSLP’s website, please do the following:
Go to www.cslpreads.org
Click on
“create account” (which you will find in the middle of the page)
Fill out the
form and click on “register”
Each account is approved by a CSLP staff member. Consequently, it is likely that your account will not be activated immediately due to a possible backlog in approvals. If you have any questions, please contact Natalie Cole.
Program Manual
The 2010 summer reading manuals were mailed in September. If you have not received your manual, please let us know as soon as possible.
Graphics
Your program manual includes a DVD containing clip art in color and black and white, and in all shapes and sizes. The manual also includes clip art in black and white for photocopying.
If you have any questions about graphics, or problems using the DVD, please contact Natalie Cole.

Program Materials and Incentives
Order early to guarantee timely shipping and full product selection! Some items have limited availability. The catalog, including order form, is included in your program manual, and is available on the Highsmith website.
