Please find below a report and slate of candidates from the CLA Leadership Development Committee in preparation for the upcoming CLA elections.
CLA members may nominate active, voting members to be added to the election ballot by petition. Such nominations shall be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee(s) and must be provided to the Executive Director by 5pmWednesday, September 23.

Nominations of qualified candidates for vice president / president elect may be placed on the ballot upon petition of 2% of the voting members of the Association (47 members). Nominations for other Board Members may be placed on the ballot upon petition of 25 voting members of the association.

After Wednesday, September 23, CLA staff will publish all candidates' biographical and election statements on the website, provide guidelines on voting, and open the election.

We encourage you to review the list of candidates, prepare to cast your votes when the election opens, and be in touch with the CLA office if you have questions about the petition process.

CLA is your association -- please plan to vote in the election and help select the board members who will represent you!
