Management Team Message
We are pleased to announce that CLA has received a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to continue our Summer Matters library partnerships and Lunch at the Library program in 2014.
Summer Matters and Lunch at the Library help libraries combat summer learning loss and keep California’s children and teens healthy and engaged during the summer months. The programs provide libraries with support and resources to develop summer partnerships with local, community-based organizations, and to offer summer meals and literacy activities for children in low-income communities during the summer months. To find out more, please visit the website or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please continue to be involved with CLA this month! There is still time to submit a proposal for the 2014 conference, and apply for a CLA award or scholarship.
- The Call for Proposals is open until 5:00pm on Friday, March 14. Visit the conference website for full information.
- The award and scholarship application period is open until 5:00pm on Friday, March 28. Please apply for an award or scholarship, or nominate a deserving colleague today!
If you have questions, please contact us at any time, at email@example.com.
