2014 Conference Call for Proposals
The CLA program planning committee is delighted to call for proposals for November's conference in Oakland.
President Deborah Doyle's theme for the 2014 conference is "Be the Change," and we want to hear from YOU about change in your library and your community.
What changes are you responding to? What changes are you proactively making? How are you adapting and evolving? If you've done something risky, we want to hear about it, whether it flew or flopped. How have you taken library services outside the building? What have you changed about what happens inside the building? How are you using staff, volunteers and advocates differently? How have you leveraged technology to create new opportunities?
We're looking for sessions that will change participants, so we'll be looking for proposals that model innovation, responsiveness and creativity for the audience. Tell us how you plan to enlighten, inspire and educate participants about the value and importance of change.
In order to submit a proposal, please go to the CLA 2014 conference website. http://conference.cla-net.org/2014/
The proposal site is open now and will close on March 14 at 5:00pm.
If you need technical assistance please don't hesitate to contact CLA staff at email@example.com.
