The Marketing and Public Relations Interest Group is undergoing some exciting changes – new PRExcellence Award categories, upcoming Spring Fling program, and additions to the PRExcellence webpage.
In 2013, the PRExcellence Committee expanded the number of awards which brought in very competitive marketing pieces. In response to CLA member’s questions about previous award winners, we recently updated the PRExcellence Awards webpage to include images or links to the winning entries. The Marketing and Public Relations Interest Group will be hosting Francie Palmer, Marketing Manager for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, who will present a personal branding and marketing seminar for CLA’s 2014 Spring Fling series. Ms. Palmer presented her seminar on behalf of the Rancho Cucamonga Library Services as a part of the California State Library’s Staff Innovation Fund Project.
