Summer Reading 2013
Reading Is So Delicious! is California’s statewide summer reading theme for 2013! As always, all participating libraries will receive free program manuals and CDs; professionally-designed graphics; access to high-quality theme-based incentives and promotional items; evaluation tools; and a resource-rich website containing program ideas, training materials, and more!
Sample our training workshop this year and you’ll find ideas for healthy eating, cooking, and gardening programs for all ages, decorating the library, successful outreach, and much more!
Beginning in 2013, CLA is presenting the statewide summer reading program in partnership with the Illinois Library Association’s iREAD program. With this new partnership, CLA is creating a sustainable statewide program – one that enables us to continue providing libraries with summer reading resources and support, one that gives you greater input into the design of future programs, and one that helps us all keep California’s summer reading programs strong.
