And the Winner Is.............

Dear CLA Conference Attendees,
We at Better World Books would like to thank each of you that stopped by our booth and voted for a California Library Literacy Program which you found most inspirational. The winning project will receive a $1,000 grant to support the literacy project they submitted at the CLA conference.
BetterWorld Books is able to fund grants like these due in part through the sale of library discards and donations. A special thanks to our existing California library partners. The withdrawn or donated materials you send to Better World Books make an impact every day.
It is our pleasure to announce the winner of the grant, the Adult Learner Leadership Institute from Rancho Cucamonga Library. For more than 20 years Adult Literacy Services have been readily available through California's public libraries. These critical services help English-speaking adults improve their reading and writing skills so they can reach their potential as workers, parents, community members and life-long learners.

Thank you to all of the participants who prepared posters for this grant giveaway. It was our pleasure to be a part of this grant process.
See you all next year!
Kind Regards,

National Accounts Executive
