Taking Charge of Your Career: Résumé Writing, Interview Skills, and Finding a Job that’s Right for You

Presented by CLA’s Spring Fling Program Series in partnership with the UCLA Department of Information Studies’ Friday Forums workshops and Alumni Association
 
Librarians and library school students received career development advice at a workshop presented jointly by CLA, the UCLA Department of Information Studies, and the UCLA Library & Information Studies Alumni Association, on Friday, April 29, 2010.

At this half-day program, our panel of presenters discussed how to build a professional résumé, carry out an effective job search, and develop and enhance interview skills, helping attendees take charge of their careers and find the jobs that are right for them.
