Day in the District 2011
The California Library Association and the California School Library Association, along with other library advocates, scheduled visits with legislators in their local district offices end of January, beginning of February. These Day in the District meetings provided a great opportunity to educate legislators and their aides about the importance of libraries within their jurisdictions. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting in your district, please contact Kevin Kilkenny for more information.
