Arizona Library Conference Planned

August 2004

If you love library conferences, you must attend the CLA Conference in San Jose November 12th - 15th. It is going to be great!

But if you want to combine a great vacation opportunity that can also be a "bookperson's holiday," consider attending the Arizona Library Association Conference November 30 - December 2, 2004 in Tucson. The conference is being held at the magnificent Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort. Enjoy Tucson's high desert beauty and great featured speakers who include Susan Kent, former LAPL City Librarian who has left California for NYPL and the Big Apple, Nancy Pearl, Seattle Public Library book club maven and model for the Librarian action figure and Bob Martin, Executive Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
