New CLA Website to Debut

by Susan Negreen, CLA Executive Director

A new website for the California Library Association will be available on or about May 5, 2003. Even though there will be a new host for the site, the URL will remain http://www.cla-net.org/.

The website will include the new CLA Online Membership Directory. This is a member-only benefit, so you will need to know your member ID to access the directory. We will be e-mailing your ID #, along with a default password, to you on the day we launch the new website. If you do not have an e-mail address, please call the CLA office at 916-447-8541 to receive your ID and password.

The website has a new look and feel and information is easily retrievable. Special thanks go to all of you who shared your library photos for the site. While we could not use all of them, the depth and breath of library services in California the photos demonstrated were obvious! We hope you enjoy the site, and welcome any comments or suggestions.
